Workday Integation Delivery Lead Job Description
Description:

The Company’s Enterprise Business Systems team is looking for a Workday Integation Delivery Lead who will be responsible for the delivery and maintenance of all workday integrations (inbound/outbound). The Delivery Lead will manage technology teams of integration developers within implementation projects for new or enhancments of integration as well as support of maintenance of integrations for business continuity.

Responsibilities:
  • Leads technology teams within implementation projects
  • Delivers high-quality, scalable and cost-effective technology solutions that meet business requirements and conform to architectural designs and technology strategies
  • Responsible for security and compliance
  • Responsible for Tier 3 engineering support for live production services
  • Actively manages third-party suppliers of products to ensure they deliver to their commitments, and to the needs of the business
  • Collaborates closely with partners across the organization including business partners, architects and other delivery managers
  • Manages and mentors team of direct reports by providing career path conversations and
  • Responsible for creating technical artifacts
  • Respnosbile for reviewing deliverables from technical team
Skills:
  • 5+ years Workday technical skills (Web Services API, EIB, Studio)
  • 5+ years experience developing Workday Integrations with internal and external consumers
  • 5 years as a technical manager role in a Corporate environment of a similar size/complexity
  • Experience successfully leading technology teams within the delivery of enterprise software projects for their allocation domain. Proven track record of execution-driving results and meeting commitments
  • Experience leading matrixed project teams including architects, developers, operations, PMs, business analysts, and vendor partners
  • Experience proactively managing project risks and issues and implementing effective mitigation plans
  • Experience managing technical project budget and financials
  • Workday consultant or client pro-certified
  • Background in and strong understanding of broad HR systems architecture and data flow
  • A strong business orientation combined with strong IT technical skills
  • Previous experience in managing both direct and indirect teams
  • Proven ability to manage complex vendor, supplier, and sub-contractor relationships
  • Proven ability to complete projects and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment
  • Wide experience with a variety of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies across waterfall and agile
  • Experience managing Tier 3 engineering support for live services
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and manage project stakeholders across multiple levels across the enterprise
  • Ability to establish executive level relationships across the various business and technology organizations
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to establish and manage effective working relationships in a matrixed organizational structure
  • Strong consensus-building ability and negotiating skills
  • Ability to make difficult decisions balancing business requirements, project timelines and budgets and product and technology roadmaps and architectural design
  • Ability to decide and act without having the total picture and comfortable handling risk and uncertainty
  • Ability to identify and marshal resources to get projects initiated and completed
  • Self-starter, who can effectively navigate a complex organizational structure
  • Drives continuous improvement in teams, services and processes
  • Excellent project management, organization, and team collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent facilitation, collaboration, organizational, leadership and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
  • Extensive knowledge of project management processes, systems development methods, organizational change management concepts, and business process improvement methods
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment
  • Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
Experience:
  • 5 to 10 years of experience as a project manager in complex and large corporate environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Project, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Able to manage third parties to delivery
Required Education:
BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
