Software Resources has an immediate long term contract job opportunity for a Technical Writer with a major corporation in Orlando, FL. 

Description:
Provides technical documentation which may include the following: test scripts, technical documentation, guidelines, procedural and general reference documents, as well as all common methods documentation. May be responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Experience utilizing technical methodologies and tools. Excellent research, problem solving, and written and interpersonal communication skills. Produce documentation based on technical, business requirements, functional and non-functional specifications and interviews with subject matter experts.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Develop written documents and automate workflow solutions of document approval process.
  • Author, organize and maintain a wide variety of complex technical artifacts (e.g. standards, process-flows, and procedures).
  • Work with subject matter experts to collect, organize and evaluate technical and non-technical information.
  • Author, edit, publish and maintain artifacts through entire life-cycle from artifact conception to completion and presentation.
  • Identify and resolve gaps between company standards, regulatory requirements and artifacts.
  • Systematically design and write accurate artifacts in a clear, concise and compelling style.
  • Deliver high-quality artifacts that are clear, concise, easy-to-understand and meet audience needs.
  • Visualize content (e.g. layouts, charts, graphics) to deliver powerful messaging in conjunction with written content.
  • Recommend and implement editorial standards and style guides.
  • Ensure artifact quality, clarity, punctuation, grammar, content, and continuity of style.
  • Maintain effective management of records, including the IT documentation library
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with C-level presentation (PowerPoint, keynote) and a great attitude

Required Education:
Bachelors or Equivalent
