We are looking for a Scrum Master for a contract position in Downtown Miami, Florida.

Candidates need to have experience managing multiple teams and scrum masters and be very strong on scrum/agile/SAFe details.

Job Summary:
The Scrum Master facilitates across multiple scrum teams. They escalate impediments, manage risk, and help drive program-level continuous improvement. The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating program events including planning workshops, retrospectives, Program Leadership Team Meetings, and the Scrum of Scrums.

  • Manages programs to align them to value delivered to the business
  • Coordinates cross-team planning workshops
  • Collaborates with the program leadership team to prioritize and manage program backlogs
  • Communicates program plans and progress to broad stakeholder audiences
  • Aggregates team objectives into Program Objectives and publishes for visibility and transparency
  • Ensure value delivered by a program is tracked through metrics
  • Assists with program execution and feature completion tracking
  • Provides visibility into program health, progress, and impediments
  • Regularly inspects the program process to Client and address the major concerns
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties and/or vendors
  • Drives program-level continuous improvement via retrospectives and Inspect and Adapt workshops
  • Coaches and mentors others on team and program level Quality Practices and Communities of Practice around SAFe, Scrum, and Agile program management
  • Facilitates PI planning readiness; Vision, backlogs and facilities
  • Facilitates program-level agile ceremonies
  • Tracks and resolves escalated risks and dependencies, coordinates resolution with technology leadership
  • Maintains proper communication with all the technical and non-technical teams involved
  • Provides input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
  • Fosters the preparation of vision and backlogs to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
  • Establishes, tracks, and manages program budgets
  • Creates, maintains, and publishes PI calendar in collaboration with peers
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or software engineering preferred
  • Agile Certification (PSM/CSM or PMI- ACP) preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification helpful
  • Working knowledge of application development, processes, trends and best practices
  • Knowledgeable in agile methodology and techniques (i.e. Kanban, Scrum, PI planning etc.)
  • 5-7 years of previous project management and/or Agile experience
  • 1-2 years of previous experience as a ScrumMaster preferred
  • Experience with various project management tools and techniques
  • Risk management, strategic planning, and change management experience
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, presentation, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
