Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) seeks a Project Manager to lead the migration, decommissioning, and archiving of a legacy ERP system. The scope of the project includes identifying all business and IT functions within that ERP, and upstream and downstream systems. Those processes will be migrated to SAP or other existing systems. Data will be converted where necessary, and then the legacy ERP data will be archived.
The Project Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for successful delivery across groups (both business and I.T.) It is a functional role, not a technical role, but will direct some technical resources. The postion requires a high-level understanding of core business process, including Accounting, Purchasing, Billing, Receivables, and Fixed Assets, and how ERP systems manage them.

Project Management Responsibilities:
” Defines and manages the project plan
” Defines scope and deliverables
” Evaluates trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value
” Partners with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria
” Facilitates all operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of the project
” Assesses and resolves all high priority project risks as they are encountered
” Ensures the project adheres to project methodology compliance standards set
” Continually apprises relevant business stakeholder of project status
” Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies issues, and devises contingency plans
” Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team
” Provides frequent on-site monitoring and enforcement of schedules, milestones, and vendor accountability
” Conducts meetings with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the organization to validate understanding of business goals and effectively communicate the business strategy
” Leads effective status meetings that communicate overall project status and define actions required to keep project within scope, schedule and budget
” Publishes weekly status reports that provides project progress reports to project team and stakeholders

Required Skills
” Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation, presentation and collaboration
” Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills
” Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
” Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment, prioritize work and meet deadlines
” Ability to diplomatically challenge stakeholders to keep aligned with priorities
” Extensive knowledge of project management processes, systems development methods, organizational change management concepts, and business process improvement methods

” 10+ years in large, multi-disciplanary, "matrixed companies (as employee or consultant)
” Business process experience (not only technical)
” Complex integration projects
” Working with Legal, Tax, HR, Finance & Operations (ERP systems)
” Media experience is a plus but not required
” M&A experience a plus
” Experience with WorkDay Financials or SAP is a plus

Required Education:
BS or equivalent
