Position Summary:
This position will responsible for running small to large projects that ultimately help deliver the best online shopping experience to our end users. Will manage and coordinate all activities leading to the successful completion of organizational projects. Will partner closely with Marketing and Business leads to translate project requirements into actionable plans with all facets of organization. This includes documenting all aspects of the project, as well as scoping, budgeting, resourcing and reporting. This role will primarily be focused around highly technical project implementation and documentation.

Essential Functions:
  • Ensure competition of both department and organizational wide projects. This will require direct work with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and resolve customer issues that threaten the success of the project both internally and at the customer site. Candidate must show the ability to manage customer issues in a proactive manner and provide customer-focused solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with Design, Development, QA, Brand, Marketing, Legal, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Operation teams to carry out various organizational projects.
  • Reads, writes, interprets, and explains technical or complex information. Communicates effectively in all mediums, including verbal, non-verbal, and especially written.
  • Responsible for evaluating and tracking project performance, while identifying and solving for any potential risk or blocker
  • Clearly define and document business stakeholder requirements
  • Utilize effective change management best practices.
  • Provide regular updates to all project stakeholders, including executive team, on the status and progress of all projects
  • Provide quality documentation of overall project actions/status (using what method or system)
  • Develops project plans which identify key issues, approaches, performance metrics and resources required.
  • Drive decision making and escalate to compete deliverables on time and on budget
  • Assist in measuring customer satisfaction during and after implementations (how does this get accomplished?)
  • Meet or exceed established PMO metrics including but not limited to, requirement documentation, assigned project reporting/deliverables, and customer satisfaction reporting, ROI.
  • Identify risks and communicate them effectively to stakeholders and team at-large (how does this get accomplished?)
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field
  • 5+ years' as a Project Manager supporting software teams / projects in a comparable industry (e.g. subscription ecommerce)
  • 2+ years' experience working with the Agile Methodology; SCRUM master certification and/or PMP certification preferred
  • Highly skilled with project management and documentation tools
  • Superior communication skills; must have the ability to communicate, write, advise, and counsel on extremely complex matters.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Smartsheets
  • Knowledge of Direct Response Marketing principles and consumer behavior a plus.
  • Ability to learn quickly, self-start and ask key questions ahead of deadlines.
  • Comfort and ease with a fast-paced, ever-changing creative environment.
