Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Delivery Manager with a major corporation in Orlando, FL. 

Description:
The Delivery Manager will be responsible for managing multiple projects and is tasked with ensuring software/features are delivered into releases and live for guests. He/She works with Project Managers, Product Managers, Development Managers, and Release Managers to help development teams get through the process of building features and taking them live.

Responsibilities:
  • Owns release and change management processes for both internal products and vendor managed products.
  • Acts as the routine contact point, receiving and handling requests for support. Responds to a broad range of service requests for support by providing information to fulfill requests or enable resolution. Provides first line investigation and diagnosis and promptly allocates unresolved issues as appropriate.
  • Engages with project management to confirm that products developed meet the service acceptance criteria and are to the required standard.
  • Assists with the development standards, and applies these to track, monitor, report, resolve or escalate issues. Contributes to the creation of support documentation.
  • Allocates routine tasks and/or project work. Provides direction, support and guidance as necessary, in line with individuals' skills and abilities. Monitors progress against agreed quality and performance criteria. Acts to facilitate effective working relationships between team members.
  • Uses appropriate methods and tools in the development, maintenance, control and distribution of quality and environmental standards.
  • Implements stakeholder engagement/ communications plans, including, for example; handling of complaints; problems and issues; managing resolutions; corrective actions and lessons learned; collection and dissemination of relevant information. Uses feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measure effectiveness of stakeholder management. Helps develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationships.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent exp
