Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for an Associate IT Project Coordinator with a major corporation in Downtown Orlando, FL. 


Responsible for assisting in the management, planning and administering of the operational and administrative activities of an Information Technology project and/or program or leading small projects under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager. Under the direction of the Project/Program Manager, assists with maintaining and reporting accurate budget, schedule, and performance information. Provides support to project/program presentations, meeting agenda/meeting minutes and action items follow-up and administrative tasks associated with maintaining project information in Sciforma, the Project and Portfolio Management Tool.

Essential Job Functions:
Assists or leads with use of approved processes, templates, and tools, (Sciforma) for project delivery.
1. Assists with forecasting, management, and reporting on project financials, planned and actual project schedule, and resources utilization.
2. Assists with creation/management of project budget and schedule to ensure final approval within budget allocations (dollars across specified months) and assists in performing monthly reconciliation of budget versus actual for project expenditures, (Capital Budget).
3. Assists with maintaining project work plans and drafts for required deliverables.
4. Assists with maintaining the project/program dashboard/metrics.
5. Assists with managing issues, risks, and changes using appropriate and agreed upon processes and tools.
6. Assists with deploying Sciforma to other departments within IT as well as within Business Units.

2. Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the business / client environment and systems, connectivity, and application technology alternatives.
3. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at various stages of completion.
4. Facilitation skills; communicates effectively to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions as required.
5. Strong initiative, flexibility, and ability to thrive in a deadline oriented atmosphere.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Understanding of various technologies including the Sciforma PPM Tool, as well as applications, databases, networking, telecommunications and connectivity.
8. Analytical, problem solving and planning ability.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
a) Education 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline or equivalent b) Training requirements (licenses, programs or certificates)
1. Worked within a Program Management Office providing input to improving key processes. c)

Technical Skills: 
1. Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite of products, i.e. Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
2. Project experience d) Job experience (number of years, type/level of previous experience)
1. 1+ years of experience in a Project Lead role with a strong background in team development
2. 1+ years of experience in business analysis, system analysis, and design or infrastructure design/development/support.
3. Familiar with Sciforma or other Portfolio / Program Management Software
